‘Blood Ritual’ is a surprisingly sophisticated story-telling technique for a first novel. .. Despite what the ‘About the Author' notes indicate, Ms. Moore’s overall technique is so smooth and engaging, that she comes across as an accomplished, experienced writer.Characters are interesting with well- developed, distinct personality traits that attract or repel enough to make reader care what happens to them. Descriptions and details of settings seem authentic and appeal to the imagination.
As for the fact/fiction details concerning vampires, like Ms. Moore, some very famous writers introduced monsters and vampires long ago and made them “believable” with their great stories.
Most appealing of many good features is the writer’s skill in revealing a very intense, sensuous relationship without resorting to the use of four-letter “terms” that so often pollute and spoil many an otherwise fairly-good read.
When recommending “Blood Ritual,” as I and other readers will certainly want to do, we might just point out all of the excellent features, then mention vampires. That approach might avoid some premature, automatic “turn-offs” by readers who will otherwise miss a chance to enjoy this well written novel.

This is one book even though was a very long book. Its not boring it makes you want to not stop. Talking about a king and how he feel in love but because he is very ancient, he knows not of ways of women in 21st century. But soon due to accident come to love each other and settle their problems. I want the next book please.

I absolutely loved this book! If you download this book, I guarantee you will not be disappointed. If you love intense vampire romances with a hint of "get the neck out of here", this book is for you. I need more but I can't seem to find the follow up book. Ms Moore, please don't leave us hanging! We need more!
This is a very good book for a first time author. I couldn't put it down. I can't wait for the next book I hope she writes a second book so we can find out more about the vampires and humans that was in this book.
This book was well written, well thought out, very sexy, and was a unique take on the vampire origin story. In this book, vampires are meant to be heroes who kill demons. The male heroes are sexy, strong, and charismatic. I would like more of their background stories, though, such as their individual origins and their experiences while imprisoned.
I got this book as a freebie just looking for something else to read and whoa!!! i was taken with the characters and the history behind them. I love the vampire genre but I am always looking for a twist on it. This book was a page turner and I finished it in a day and now cant wait for the next one to see what happens as these character develop.
Loved this new take on a Vampire-Human love story! Characters are very well written and incredibly intriguing for their faults and virtues. The sex is very hot but really is only used to compliment the story. Other than a few spelling errors this book kept me from beginning to end. I got it as a free read and figure that was only because there was another book! Get to it Ms. Moore. I want the next 10 books now!!!!
Blood ritual was chuck full of all the wonderful things I have come to expect in a really good book. Love, hope, suspense...it's all there. The chapters were really short, which was a big plus for me. Sometimes I only had a few minutes to
spare but I still could make time for a short read.
The characters were believable and the storyline was easy to follow. Makes me want to be a vampire! You can believe I will read all of Angelin Moore's writings.
